What is the Personal Data Protection Policy?  

It is the policy that establishes the terms and conditions under which TETRAEDRO collects and processes the personal data of its clients in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection legislation, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”). 

TETRAEDRO respects best practices in the field of security and protection of personal data, having taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to comply with the GDPR and to ensure that the processing of personal data is lawful, fair, transparent and limited to the authorized purposes. 

The rules set out in this Data Protection Policy complement the provisions on the protection and processing of personal data contained in the contracts that our Clients enter into with TETRAEDRO.

This Data Protection Policy applies exclusively to the collection and processing of personal data for which TETRAEDRO is responsible, within the scope of the services and products made available to its Clients. 

 

What is personal data?

A natural person is considered "identifiable" if they can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to a name, identification number, location data, electronic identifiers or to one or more factors specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. 

The processing of personal data consists of an operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether by automated means or not, including collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment, combination, restriction, erasure or destruction. 

 

Who is the Data Controller? 

TETRAEDRO is the legal entity responsible for the processing of personal data that it collects, processes, and stores in both automated and non-automated ways. 

 

What types of personal data do we collect and process? 

TETRAEDRO, within the scope of its activities, collects personal data necessary for the preparation of contracts related to the provision of services contracted by its clients, and exclusively within this scope. We collect data such as name, tax identification number, address, telephone number, and email address. 

 

When and how do we collect your personal data? 

TETRAEDRO collects your personal data through its commercial department, always ensuring, whenever necessary, the prior consent of the data subject. 

The personal data collected may be processed electronically and in an automated or non-automated manner, guaranteeing in all cases strict compliance with personal data protection legislation and, under no circumstances, will the data collected be used for any purpose other than that for which it was collected or for which consent was given by the data subject. 

 

How long do we keep your personal data?  

The period for which personal data is stored and maintained varies according to the purpose for which the information is processed. 

There are legal requirements that oblige us to keep the data for a minimum period of time. Thus, and whenever there is no specific legal requirement, the data will be stored and maintained only for the minimum period necessary to achieve the purposes that motivated its collection or subsequent processing, as defined by law. 

 

What are the rights of personal data subjects?  

As personal data subjects, Clients are guaranteed, at any time, the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the terms and limits defined by law and withdrawal of consent, without this compromising the lawfulness of the processing carried out under that consent. 

 

How can personal data subjects exercise their rights?  

Data subjects may exercise the rights described above by means of a formal request, through a written email, identifying in the email subject: “Data Protection”, to the following email address - privacidade@tetraedro.ptprivacidade@tetraedro.pt 

Contact by any other means, senders and/or absence of correct identification as mentioned above will not be considered an obligation for TETRAEDRO to respond under the GDPR.  

Finally, and without prejudice to the possibility of submitting complaints directly to TETRAEDRO through the contacts provided for this purpose, the data subject may complain directly to the competent Supervisory Authority – the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD), using the contacts provided by this entity for this purpose. 

 

Are the personal data collected and processed by TETRAEDRO secure?  

 TETRAEDRO is committed to ensuring the protection and security of the personal data provided to it, having approved and implemented strict rules in this matter. Compliance with these rules is an obligation for all those who legally access them. 

Given TETRAEDRO's concern and commitment to protecting personal data, various security measures, of a technical and organizational nature, have been adopted to protect the personal data provided by its Clients against loss, dissemination, alteration, improper or unauthorized processing or access. 

Furthermore, third-party entities that, within the scope of service provision, process the Client's personal data on behalf of and for TETRAEDRO, are obliged, in writing, to implement appropriate technical and security measures that, at any given time, meet the requirements of current legislation and ensure the protection of the data subject's rights. 

 

Changes to the Privacy Policy 

TETRAEDRO reserves the right to make adjustments or changes to this Privacy Policy at any time, and these changes will be duly disclosed on this website.
